Initial research for a new for magazine 

The content of the empire film magazine is not exactly on the first page as there are a couple promotions such as new movies, new cars or new perfume on the first few pages and each one fills up two pages. I think this is a great start to the magazine as there may be a couple things there that the audience are interested in such as the car. After those promotions the content has its own page which ill direct the reader of the magazine to main parts of their magazine and aim each feature of the magazine to a wider range of audience. This is good because if a young teenager was to read this they would look for something to do with games and whats in the cinema where as an elderly person might look for a crossword or a specific actor. This magazine has many features such as new movies and other movie titles, actors with a little tabloid quote describing them and how people see them in a few wordS. It also has the latest movies and reviews such as in cinema, blu ray and DVD, masterpiece, TV and games. All of these are used by everyone which is why I think its good that its mentioned in the content for readers looking for something specific. The adds and promotions in the magazine are aimed mainly older people as there are cars that people with a higher class and a full time working job would buy or rent as a business car. Their secondary audience would be teenagers and maybe young children as sometimes the promote games such as car games or WWE.

The cover of the film magazine has a main character from a film such as Deadpool it also has the title of the movie that the character is in, for example in this the example it is Deadpool the title of this is red and links to the movie because the character is wearing red, and there is a lot of death and blood in the movie which is why the title is in red. The character is on a whit background as it makes him stand out and be the first thing people notice when they look at the magazine. The word empire on the front cover is in black as it is company of the magazine and is in bold for appearance reasons, it also gives the effect that people will think it is a good magazine and will appeal to most likely young teenagers.
